Homebuilding is a detailed endeavour .There are literally 100's of decisions to be made from start to finish.Luckily, through our years of experience, we have a process that ensures you always know where you stand with the decisions that need to be made. You will know when they need to be made, you will have all of the information available to you to make the decision, and you will know how each of them impacts your budget. We will introduce you to our process at the first meeting.Rest assured, we walk you through the entire experience so that you are comfortable at every step.

INTRODUCTORY MEETING

A Blueprint Homes Representative will meet with you to discuss and document your ideas , needs and budgets.

CONTRACT DOCUMENTS AND COUNCIL 

APPROVALS

  • A Fixed Price Contract is prepared and presented to you for approval

  • Once you are satisfied, the contract documents, including the building contract, working drawings, addendum to specification and guarantee documentation are signed

  • We will prepare and lodge with Council the building consent application

DESIGN AND PROCESS MEETING

A second meeting will be arranged where your Consultant will show you some of the "in the box"  houseplans suited to your needs and the estimated costs.

COLOUR SELECTIONS & FINISHES

  • Whilst your plans are in Council, you select the colours and finishes for your new home

  • Kitchen designers, landscape designers and colour consultants are available to assist you with your specific requirements

HANDOVER

  • On completion we will clean your home and arrange for the final Council inspection

  • You will be invited to come and inspect your new home with the Contracts   Manager

  • Once the home meets your approval a Blueprint Homes representative will meet you at your home to present you with the keys along with an information pack about the house and product warranties

DECISION TO ACCEPT ESTIMATE AND PLAN PREPARATION

  • On acceptance of the estimate, your house plans will be prepared

  • Your selections are documented in the addendum to specification and your working drawings are prepared.

CONCEPT AND DESIGN OF YOUR NEW HOME

Whether you choose one of our building packages or opt for a custom build, one of our Architectural Designers will meet with you at your land if you have already acquired it. 

From this meeting, a concept design is prepared, presented, and amended if necessary.

CONSTRUCTION AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Construction of your new home will commence soon after Council consented plans are received; at which stage a build start date is determined and an indicative timeline presented

Progress payments will be required as per the contract

We will hold regular site meetings with you and take two weekly progress photos

QUALITY CONTROL

Once construction is completed we will undertake final inspections and full quality control check

MOVING IN

  • You can now move in and enjoy your new home

  • A Blueprint Homes representative will explain the maintenance period and the conditions of your guarantee

  • As part of the follow up service, we will ask you to complete a client satisfaction survey
